All razors are honed on a progression of synthetic Shapton Glass whetstones (up to 8k HC) and are then finished on either a Japanese natural stone (JNAT finish) or a synthetic Suehiro Kouseki (1µ) whetstone (synthetic finish). The synthetic finish will additionally be polished on a progression of diamond compound impregnated balsa wood strops (0.5µ, 0.25µ & 0.1µ). The final step is stropping on a Kanoyama cordovan strop.
